My twins just turned 14, and we threw a Harry Potter Party on a very small budget! I bought an full Harry Potter Birthday kit from Amazon, and that was all I needed for a fun filled day!
HOMEMADE HARRY POTTER
CAKE AND CUPCAKES
My boys are both Hufflepuff, so the color pallet was yellow and silver/dark gray/
- Homemade cake (allergy friendly recipe here)
- Cake Topper from Amazon HP kit
- Cupcake Toppers from Amazon HP kit
- Ferrero Rocher candies to make into Snitches
- Free snitch wings printable
- Candles of your choosing
BACKYARD MUGGLE QUIDDITH
(WITHOUT THE BROOMS)
- Harry Potter Balloons from Amazon HP kit
- DIY Quidditch Hoops from wire hangers, free from a friend
- Chairs to attach wire hangers to
We bent 6 wire hangers into circles to create DIY Quidditch Hoops, then the kids just had to get a balloon through them. It was so fun and challenging to get the balloon through we didn't need any brooms to make it more wizard like.
